Why have I used archive footage of real B29 and P51

aircraft on a RC Hobby Shop website.

I reckon we all have some memories of the Hollywood scenes of Aircraft and Warships and archive footage of them in action.

It has been the use of aircraft in war that has accelerated the development of the aeroplane and created so many vehicle, warships and aircraft that we can model. Indeed it has probably been the heroic achievements of our forebears that have motivated many RC Hobbyists.

I am amazed by the massive industrial development in producing the many B29 and P51 used in the attack on the Japanese mainland and also by the dedication of the aircrew and support crews.

The planning and coordination that went into those attacks is mind blowing.

Feel free to watch the 36 minutes of archive footage here and remember the efforts that went into keeping our countries free from tyranny.

Enjoy the realism that has not been duplicated by flight simulators to date.
